Evans & Tate Crowned Western Australia's Most Successful Exhibitor at the Perth Royal Wine Show 2022 with four trophies and eight gold medals

We are blown away that Evans & Tate has been awarded the Trophy for Most Successful Western Australian Exhibitor at the Perth Royal Wine Awards 2022 this afternoon.

As well as winning this prestigious Trophy, Evans & Tate took home an additional three Trophies and eight Gold Medals across a number of their wines – an absolutely exceptional result.

The Evans & Tate 2020 Redbrook Reserve Chardonnay was awarded a Gold Medal and three Trophies for Best White Table Wine of Show, Best Western Australian White Table Wine of Show and Best Chardonnay of Show.

This is the second time the Redbrook Reserve Chardonnay has won Best White Wine of Show in the last three years, officially positioning this Redbrook Reserve as one of Margaret River and Australia’s best white wines.

The Perth Royal Wine Show is Western Australia’s most prestigious wine competition. Established in 1843, this show is responsible for establishing WA’s international reputation on the world wine stage. This year’s competition was fierce; there were 1516 wine entries across Australia’s best wineries with the winners representing only the most premium of WA and the country’s wines.

On this fantastic result Evans & Tate Winemaker Feleasha Prendergast said, "We are always proud of what we make but for our wine to win not just 1 but 4 trophies judged by some of the best in Australia is as absolute privilege. The 2020 Redbrook Reserve Chardonnay is a stunning wine showcasing how fruit purity and power can be nurtured to create a beautiful balanced wine. We are over joyed to have won these awards and thank the Royal agricultural wine show and the judges for seeing  our wine as one of the best in Australia."

These exceptional awards are yet another testament to the quality of wines that Evans & Tate continues to produce. With an already incredible run of awards at wine shows this year, this result at the Perth Royal Wine Show firmly cements Evans & Tate as one of Western Australia’s most awarded wineries.

A huge congratulations to Senior Winemaker Matt Byrne and the whole Evans & Tate team on these incredible results.
